Comments for this piece:
From Pam: Nice melody, and thoughtful lyrics. Good range for primary children and there is enough repetition in the melody that will make this easy to learn. Well notated. Good job.
5.0 stars.

More about Rick Graham:
I am a self-taught pianist that originally hails from Pennsylvania. I have a love of music that spans several decades. My Grandmother instilled in me the gift of listening to the sound of music no matter where it was. I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but sang as a young boy soprano in a boys choir for another church. Those years of learning music and techniques would forever stay with me as well as playing the recorder. I am married and am a grandfather and find great joy in my posterity. I moved to the Salt Lake area a couple years ago for employment and love it here (although I do miss my children and grandchildren terribly). I am humbled to be a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir as a music missionary. I have been truly blessed and acknowledge all the gifts and blessings that I enjoy to Him, my Savior.
Song background:

When I heard our Prophet say the words in the recent General Conference, "...walking where Jesus walked is less important than walking as He walked", I KNEW I had to write a Primary song emulating that thought. Once again, I turned to my friend and fellow MoTab member, Michael Young for the words. I think his words are perfect. I love to hear Primary children sing, and when they sing simple truths, I believe Heaven smiles upon them. I hope that it brings a smile and maybe even a tear as you read this song. I know it has impacted me.

Lyrics: I'll walk today as Jesus walked.
I'll help someone I see in need.
I'll comfort someone who is sad,
one of His lambs that I can feed.
I'll walk today as Jesus Walked.
I'll speak kind words the whole day through.
Just like the prophets tell us all to do.

I'll walk today as Jesus walked.
The Holy Ghost will help me know
how I can share my little light,
so that my faith can help me grow.
I'll walk today as Jesus walked.
And I know He will walk with me,
and help me ev'ry day to walk as He.
