More about Melinda Nixon Allred:
I've always said that there is special place in the Celestial Kingdom for all those musicians who make their music free for others to use. I figure I need all the blessings I can get, so here I am! (I'm hoping my Celestial mansion will have a swimming pool.)
Song background:

The melody to this hymn came to me last summer as I was walking my dogs  (very) early one morning.  I pulled out my phone and hummed a voice memo so that I wouldn't forget it.   A few days later, with the melody in place, I started to think about a topic.  The thought to base it off of President Nelson's youth fireside "Hope of Israel" was unexpected, but came loud and clear.  So I sat down and watched his talk repeatedly, and wrote down key words, ideas, and phrases, which somehow, (quite miraculously) fit beautifully into the new melody.   My hope is that it will remind all of us, but especially the youth, the incredible and vital role we all play in this great work of gathering Israel.
