I wrote this song for young women to sing to their dads for Father's Day or other occasions with their Dads.

It has been used for RS lessons on the Priesthood.

It can be sung as a solo but the chorus is often sung as a duet or trio.

Lyrics: 1) When I was a little girl, Daddy liked to bounce my curls and on my nose he'd give a little peck. He'd hold me on his shoulders high, we'd talk about why birds can fly, I liked to wrap my arms around his neck.
Chorus) So I want to say dear Daddy that I love you. And I'm grateful for the life you've given me. I thank our Father up above for a Dad like you to love. You're the best friend this girl could ever have.
2)Through the anxious growing years, Dad has wiped away my tears and tried to cheer me up when things went wrong. He always made me feel so good. Helped me do the things I should, It's been so nice to lean on his strong arm.
