Song background:

I had a chord progression stuck in my head, and one day I tried it with one of my favorite primary songs--and it worked. I love how it turned out. When it was finished, I sang it with a roommate in sacrament meeting. We both spoke Spanish. Whenever I have performed this in a ward where there are Spanish-speaking families, they tell me how particularly meaningful it is to them. I think mixing the two languages is a way of showing that Heavenly Father loves ALL different people, and that we are all part of the same heavenly family.
