Michael is a graduate of Brigham Young University and Western Governor's University with degrees in German, Music and Instructional Design. Though he grew up traveling the world with his military father, he now lives in Utah with his wife, Jen, and his two sons. He enjoys acting in community theater, performing and writing music, and writing both fiction and non-fiction. He played for several years with the handbell choir Bells on Temple Square and is now a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He is the author of the many books, including The Canticle Kingdom, The Hunger, and The Last Archangel. Song background:

This arrangement is based on the traditional melody, but includes an introduction and conclusion that highlights the mysterious nature of the piece. It blends together the last few verses that use the phrase “There is no end to…” with the women singing one verse, while the men sing the other verse off set by a few measures.
