This is an arrangement for the 2017 Youth Theme - James 1:5-6 set to the tune of "Did You Think to Pray?"
Verse 1: When young Joseph sought for wisdom, Truth 'mid gospel strife, For an answer to his question, Words of anger and contention, Filled his humble life. Then in darkness and confusion, Joseph knew not what to do. He read in the holy scriptures, God will answer true.
Verse 2: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men lib'rally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith nothing wavering. Ask with faith that is unwav'ring, and it shall be given him.
Verse 3: If you find yourself like Joseph, Wond'ring what is right, Look to scriptures, they will guide you, And God's spirit be beside you, As you seek for light. When in darkness or confusion, Pray to know what you should do. Ask with faith that is unwav'ring, God will answer you. Ask your father in faith unwavering and He will answer you.
