From Jibi Annie: Wonderful arrangement, great words and what a solemn song! We are going to take this as our introit for our Christmas Carol Services in our church located in a small town in S. India :) Loved the teaching bit too!

More about Rick Graham:
I am a self-taught pianist that originally hails from Pennsylvania. I have a love of music that spans several decades. My Grandmother instilled in me the gift of listening to the sound of music no matter where it was. I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but sang as a young boy soprano in a boys choir for another church. Those years of learning music and techniques would forever stay with me as well as playing the recorder. I am married and am a grandfather and find great joy in my posterity. I moved to the Salt Lake area a couple years ago for employment and love it here (although I do miss my children and grandchildren terribly). I am humbled to be a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir as a music missionary. I have been truly blessed and acknowledge all the gifts and blessings that I enjoy to Him, my Savior.
Song background:

This is a Sacrament hymn that I composed a couple years ago and stayed dormant until recently. I collaborated with fellow MoTab choir member, Michael Young on the lyrics. Thanks, Michael for the inspiring words to go with the music. I hope you enjoy it.

Lyrics: 1. Great is thy mercy, O Lord, most holy.
We bear our souls as an offering to thee.
Great is thy love, more than I comprehend.
Infinite, eternal through thy Son, whom thou didst send.

2. Great is thy power O Lord, most mighty.
Breaking the chains of death, and of sin.
Great is thy grace, in saving those who roam.
Blotting even scarlet sins, through Christ who did atone.

3. Great is thy glory O Lord, most holy.
We leave our burdens at thy feet.
Great is thy plan that gives us hope anew.
Making clear our path as we our covenants renew.
