More about Emily Rachel Middleton:
I Love hymns so much. I always have a hymn in the background of my mind and it is a blessing in my life. I am a beginning Lyricist and I write these words as the spirit influences me. I feel that sharing a hymn is also sharing my testimony.
Song background:

I am a beginner at writing songs and I love it!  The inspiration for this song is from a recent visit to the Temple site at Far West Missouri.  It is a special place and I did not want to forget the experience that I had there, so I wrote this song.

Lyrics: God Gave His Glory

God gave His glory to the skies,
To stars above, and earth below,
To trees and wind and sea and fire,
And all the life that from Him flows.
He sanctified them with His word,
And gave them light from heav’n above,
Then beautified those wondrous works,
That we may know His endless love.
In graciousness He sent His Son,
A perfect sacrifice for sin,
That from the grave we might be won,
If we repent and turn to Him.
All this was done for each of us,
That we might gain eternal life,
And live in glor’ous realms above,
With Christ our Savior, Lord On High.
