From Andy Smith: Nice one Bro. M. We'll try and use it this Easter for our ward choir.

1. Christ our King is risen this day, Rejoice! Rejoice, 'tis Easter morn.
Spread the word throughout each nation; joyous news forevermore.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Praises sing to Father in Heav'n,
To His children, through His Son, the gift of life is giv'n.
2. In the garden, Jesus knelt in fervent prayer to God above,
There, atoned for all mankind; the price of sin, He paid through love.
In our strivings for perfection, through our Lord's redeeming grace,
Life eternal, exaltation, may our souls obtain.
3. On the cross they crucified our beloved Saviour, Jesus Christ.
On the cross He bled and died; A selfless act of sacrifice.
In the tomb His body lay where mortal hands would harm no more.
Through His pow'r to conquer death, great works continue forth.
4. Christ our Saviour lives this day, our resurrected Lord and Friend.
He is risen! He is risen! Death no more shall be the end.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Prophecies of old fulfilled.
Justice served and mercy shown if we now do His will.
