This is a Christmas song about Anna and Simeon who were at the temple on the day Mary and Joseph brought the baby Jesus to present him before God. I was in charge of the Christmas sacrament meeting program, and I wanted to include their story. I did not know of any music about Anna and Simeon, so I decided to write one. As I studied their story, it struck me how similar their day is to ours. I hope you enjoy the music.
